Transition to Continuous Article Publication
We are pleased to announce that the Pakistan Journal of Nutrition is adopting a Continuous Article Publication (CAP) model, effective immediately.
Under this new system, articles will be published online in their final, citable format as soon as they complete the peer-review and production process. This replaces our traditional model of collecting articles into scheduled periodic issues.
This move is part of our ongoing commitment to serve our authors and readers by making important research available to the scientific community as quickly as possible.
Key Benefits of This Change:
-
For Our Authors:
-
Rapid Publication: Your research will be published online shortly after acceptance, significantly reducing publication times.
-
Earlier Citations: Your work can be discovered and cited by your peers much sooner, increasing its impact.
-
-
For Our Readers:
-
Immediate Access to Research: You will have instant access to the latest peer-reviewed findings in the field of nutrition as they become available.
-
Current and Timely Information: You no longer need to wait for a complete issue to be compiled to read the latest articles.
-
-
For the Scientific Community:
-
Accelerated Scientific Discourse: This model accelerates the overall dissemination of research, fostering a more dynamic and timely scientific conversation.
-
While articles will appear online as they are ready, they will still be collected into archival volumes and assigned issue numbers for indexing and citation purposes.
